Why C-HUB?

In Jungbusch, Mannheim’s harbor and trendy district, the C-HUB creative industries center is setting new standards. With its award-winning architecture, reminiscent of old warehouse buildings, the C-HUB bridges the gap between industrial heritage and Mannheim’s startup scene of tomorrow. More than 30 young startups from nearly every segment of the creative industries enjoy the collaborative atmosphere here across approximately 5,000 square meters of space. The community has access to flexible office spaces—supplemented by meeting rooms, conference rooms, storage areas, and consulting services.

Anyone who joins the C-HUB community enjoys the benefits of a unique networking structure. A diverse mix of tenants from industries such as Software, Design, Graphic, Movie, Media or Architecture encourages collaboration and the launch of joint projects. Its immediate proximity to the Pop Academy Baden-Württemberg, the Center of Excellence Music Park and the PORT25 – A Space for Contemporary Art, making the C-HUB a central hub and networking hotspot for the regional and national creative industries.

Dining at St. James

The "St. James" is the social dining spot in the C-HUB complex and impresses with its fresh, varied menu. In addition to creative bowl dishes and burger specialties, St. James offers a lunch menu featuring seasonal daily specials. For a quick creative break in between, there are various snacks and salads. In the evening, "St. James" transforms into a bar. Bowls, burgers, and bourbon taste best under the open sky—on the open-air terrace right on the banks of the connecting canal, surrounded by the post-industrial harbor atmosphere of Jungbusch. "St. James" is also the perfect venue for events—whether private parties, corporate events, or creative gatherings. The gallery is located in a renovated harbor building directly across from the C-HUB PORT25 as Contemporary Art Space established. Exhibitions by and featuring artists from the region are presented alongside international artistic perspectives. The focus is on current productions, which are relevant today.
