Art by Hony
Hony, born in the Palatinate and now based in Mannheim, is known for his distinctive Pop Art works. He lets his creativity run wild in the “City of Squares,” captivating viewers with bold outlines, vibrant colors, and minimalist compositions. His contemporary designs are accessible and speak for themselves even without a deep understanding of art. In doing so, Hony manages to present even familiar motifs—such as Mannheim’s Christuskirche or the VW Beetle—in a new light.
This year, he has not only designed the visuals and the MEXI Award for the MEXI, but will also be offering his artwork for sale during the evening.
